That’s why we’re proud to offer select pet friendly accommodations in Southern Utah, so you and your four-legged travel companions can enjoy the comfort, beauty, and convenience of staying right on the rim of the Virgin River.
We Love Welcoming Dogs
While The Dwellings is mostly a pet-free property to ensure comfort for guests who may have allergies, we also know that many travelers can’t imagine exploring without their dogs. To make everyone feel at home, we’ve designated a few specific units where pets are welcome: Unit 1, Unit 7, Unit 9, and Unit 12. If you’re bringing a dog along, please be sure to book one of these units specifically. We have a mandatory pet fee of $75 per pet. Our 4 pet-friendly units have a good-sized backyard so your pet can roam.

To keep The Dwellings a relaxing and enjoyable place for all guests—whether they need a pet-free environment or are traveling with dogs—we’ve outlined a few simple guidelines to ensure a comfortable stay for everyone:
Dogs are only permitted in Units 1, 7, 9, and 12.
Pets are not allowed in other units or the pool
Pets should not be left unattended in units unless they are in a crate. The Dwellings does not provide crates.
Guests arriving with pets must disclose this to the staff at the front desk.
Please do not allow your pets on our furniture or bedding.

At The Dwellings, we’re proud to be a pet-friendly property — and we’ve designated four specific units to comfortably accommodate guests traveling with dogs or service animals.
To ensure the health and comfort of all our guests — especially those with severe allergies — all animals (including emotional support animals and service animals) must be booked into one of our designated pet-friendly units. This policy helps us maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and consideration for everyone who stays with us.

Q: Do you allow cats or other pets besides dogs?
A: At this time, only dogs are permitted in our designated pet friendly units.
Q: Which units are pet friendly?
A: Pets are welcome in Units 1, 7, 9, and 12 only. Please make sure to select one of these units when booking your stay.
Q: Is there a pet fee?
A: Yes, a small pet fee of $75 per pet will apply. This helps us provide extra cleaning and ensure the highest level of comfort for all guests. There will be a maximum charge of $250 for all undisclosed pets or pets booked into a non pet friendly unit.
Q: Do I need to notify you if I’m bringing a dog?
A: Yes, guests arriving with pets must disclose this to our team at the front desk or upon checking into your room.
Q: Can I walk my dog around the property?
A: Pets must remain in designated pet friendly units and should not be taken into non-pet areas of the property. If you choose to walk your dog around the property please note pets must remain on leash for the safety of other pets and our other guests.However, there are nearby trails and outdoor areas perfect for walks and adventures.
Q: What if I can’t book a pet friendly unit but still want to bring my pet?
A: Since pets are not permitted outside of designated units, we recommend using our trusted local boarding partner for safe and convenient pet care during your stay.
